Attractive, dwarf plants bear a profusion of semi-double blooms, about 3 in./8 cm. across, with a wide assortment of beautiful colors. Plants are easy-to-grow and bloom profusely throughout the summer and early fall. Blossoms are striking in cut flower arrangements. Growing dahlias from seed is much less expensive than the cost of roots. Excellent in beds, borders, planters, window boxes, and hanging baskets. Make stunning cut flowers.
When and Where to Plant: For early blossoms, start indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost. Outdoors, select sunny location with rich, well drained moist soil and plant after last frost.
Care: Store seed in a cool, dry place. Heat and moisture can severely reduce germination.
