Espoma Organic Potting Soil has everything potted plants require for vigorous natural growth. It's enhanced with earthworm castings and Myco-tone™ for stronger roots. Use Espoma Potting Mix for all indoor and outdoor containers and potted plants, including vegetables, herbs and flowering plants.

This organic potting mix contains a rich blend of only the finest natural ingredients. No synthetic plant foods or chemicals are used. It has a base mix of sphagnum peat moss, perlite and humus in an easy-pour bag. We stock Espoma Organic Potting Mix in four-quart, eight-quart and one cubic foot (25.71-quart) bags for all levels of gardening. For use on: All indoor and outdoor container plants.

When to use: Use anytime you are planting or repotting containers.

How to apply: Fill container one third full with Espoma organic potting soil mix. Carefully remove the plant from its current container and gently loosen the root ball. Center the plant in the new container and fill it with additional potting mix. Allow at least 1 inch between the rim of the pot in the top of the soil.

Ingredients: This product contains 60-70% processed forest products, sphagnum peat moss, perlite, humus, limestone to adjust pH, earthworm castings, alfalfa meal, kelp meal, feather meal, & yucca extract.

Active Ingredients:

Ectomycorrhizal Fungi:  A total of 122.8 propagules / cc (3.4 million propagules per cubic foot) of the following 3 species:

  • Pisiolithus tinctorius  105.66
  • Rhizopogon luteolus  8.57
  • Rhizopogon roseolus  8.57

Endomycorrhizal Fungi:  A total of 0.072 propagules  / cc (2,040  propagules per cubic foot) of the following 4 species:
